Kindergarten Week 32

This week was one of those weeks that started off great but ended very badly... for momma.  The kids loved their week this week. The week started with Sunday Easter celebrations and dying Easter eggs.  My two older kids tried boiled eggs for the first time and my daughter loved the whites but not the yolk... my son would not do more than a nibble of each. We finished off our unit on transportation this week.  My daughter had fun looking for pictures of transportation in our magazines and then making this collage. Here is the next flower craftivity for the AB family flower!  My daughter loves doing these so much! The end of the week was supposed to be a big family blast at the Georgia Aquarium.  The older two kids went up to Atlanta with their grandmother a few days before our trip.  We bought tickets ahead of time and my husband and I and the baby went up on Friday evening.  The kids had such a blast, but momma ended up not being a...

So, this week was the first week since we started school where we did our lessons everyday! On Wednesday, we had a field trip to Chick-fil-A with our MOPS group where we saw how they made lemonade.  My two children were fortunate enough to help...

So, it has been about a week since I posted anything.  We have been on vacation., our first vacation in years.  This was our first real family vacation since having kids.  We rented a house in the mountains and just enjoyed the Smokeys.  I'll share just a few pictures with you from our trip: We visited the Oconaluftee Indian Village in Cherokee, NC.  We learned all about life for the Indians and how they make their various crafts.  My favorite part of this was being able to stay and watch the traditional dances (pictured above).  They even had an audience participation part at the end and my niece, oldest son and myself all went and danced. The next day, we took a trip on the Great Smokey Mountain Railway.  My oldest son LOVED the train ride.  He loves trains anyways, thanks to Thomas the train.  He thought he was riding Thomas the train the whole time.  He hardly once left the window. On another day, we drove on the Sky...
