Letter J Activities
Check out this post for activities all about the letter J!
J is for Jaguar - Use these capital letter outlines to create a jaguar print letter J. We simply colored the J yellow and then used a q-tip with black paint to make the rosettes.
We used pouch tops to fill in our letter J mat! These letter mats are one of our favorite activities!
We used juice to paint these lowercase letter j pictures. The kids loved doing this different kind of art.
We used these letter pages as playdough mats. My son loves using playdough so we try to incorporate it into each week of letter learning.
When we finish with the playdough, we use the same mats to sort capital and lowercase versions of the letter.
These stamping pages are a favorite activity around here! They make a great fine motor activity and allows for hand-eye coordination practice. [These pages are found here ---> Alphabet Stamping Center]
These reading cards are great for introducing works that begin with the letter J! We love the real photographs in this set! [These cards are part of this packet ---> Letter J Phonics and Handwriting Packet]
Place these cards on a ring or leave them loose for a cute fluency activity. We look at these every week to introduce words that begin with our letter! [These cards are part of this set ---> Letter J Activities and Centers]
My son loves trains. He has loved them since he was small. I made sure to incorporate those into his learning. [This train can be found here ---> Letter J Train]
These letter J puzzles are a lot of fun. We practice matching the letters to pictures that begin with the sound and then spell simple letter J words with the spelling puzzles. [These puzzles are part of this packet ----> Letter J Activities and Centers]
These letter find pages are a staple in our homeschool. Both of my older kids have loved seek and find type activities so I make sure to have one available for them to do each week. [These pages are found here ---> Alphabet Letter Finds]
We do a letter sort every week. We sort pictures of things that start with the letter and things that do not start with the letter. [This sort is part of this packet ---> Letter J Phonics and Handwriting Packet]
